About The Project
AIM2Flourish is a global learning and recognition initiative that harnesses transformative management education models to enable Business as an Agent of World Benefit.
A Catalyst for Future-Fit Business & Leadership
The AIM2Flourish initiative and platform empowers business and management school students to research and report untold positive, powerful stories about business innovations that solve the world’s biggest challenges. As a result, students are empowered to become the future-fit leaders we need, and support today’s business leaders with recognition for their positive impact.
AIM2Flourish offers the only higher-education curriculum, platform & recognition program for the next generation of leaders to use business as a force for good:AIM2Flourish.com. Business students around the world are using Appreciative Inquiry (strength-based interviews) and the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development as a lens to search out and report on world-changing innovations. AIM2Flourish was launched at the GRLI AGM and the UN Global Compact PRME Global Forum in June 2015 and is hosted by Case Western Reserve University’s Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit. Today it counts over 1,000 AIM2Flourish community members in 51 countries, producing over 300 documented stories by the end 2016. It’s time to grow from awareness raising to increased social impact. We invite collaboration to launch AIM2Flourish 2.0 as a scaling, self-sustaining program that amplifies aligned GRLI initiatives for business education transformation and is available to 100% of business and management students worldwide.
AIM2Flourish official launch at the 2015 UN Global Compact’s meeting
AIM2Flourish.com website was launched on June 25, 2015 at the UN Global Compact’s 15th anniversary celebration. It is intended as a global learning platform and community for students, business leaders, citizens, and educators. This website is already a flourishing space for student-discovered world-changing innovation stories that help solve the UN’s new Global Goals for sustainable development, and showcase emerging benchmarks for well-being. Here, you’ll find real-life business innovation stories including profiles of courageous leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs who view the great challenges of our day as inspiring opportunities to create a better world. Each innovation story published on the platform becomes a nomination for a Flourish Prize.
History of the AIM2Flourish
The initiative was first conceived at the Third Global Forum for Business as an Agent of World Benefit (Cleveland, October 2014) where the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University in partnership with GRLI convened leaders from around the world to explore renewed purpose and radical “net positive” strategies that create greater value for business and society. GRLI is an active catalyst in ensuring impact at scale for this innovative project.
With the support of GRLI, AIM2Flourish hosted a workshop on June 22 2015 at the GRLI AGM (All Gathering Momentum) meeting.
