Geraldine specialises in leadership, business management and capability development
She is Professor of Practice in Management at La Trobe University where she is responsible for teaching, curriculum development and providing industry engagement initiatives for the Business School. She was formerly the Institute for Public Administration Australia’s (IPAA) Victorian Chief Executive Officer responsible for the development and management of a range of professional development programs and services for members. Geraldine was also the Institute’s Program Director, Australian Industry Group’s Membership Strategy Manager and Australian Human Resource Institute’s, Professional Development and Membership Manager.
In the past Geraldine worked as a lecturer in the school of management for Central Metropolitan College of TAFE and as a business and human resource manager for Myer Stores Ltd.
Geraldine is currently Deputy Chair of Multicultural Arts Victoria and a Board member of Connecting Home. Her qualifications include a Doctorate of Business Administration and a Masters in Training and Development. She is also a Reviewer for the Australian Journal of Public Administration and the American Journal, Review of Personnel Public Administration.
