I worked in marketing for many years, where conventionally the focus is more on product benefit than social value. Now, through The Eth Word, I am exploring connections between the values we bring to work and the values people seek from brands. My belief is that this alignment, and its adoption in leadership and workplace culture, will enable organisations to create more purposeful, productive and profitable relationships with their employees, customers and communities.

Having completed the Fellowship start-up programme at the School for Social Entrepreneurs, London, I co-founded The Eth Word in 2016 with my colleague Peter Thompson. We film ‘un-business-like’ conversations with leaders about values, purpose and ethics, creating the space for new thinking about self, work and the role that organisations play in society.

I’m also a freelance copywriter and a trustee of Learning Links, a Hampshire charity helping people improve life chances through learning, health and work. I enjoy table tennis (happily we have a table at the office), dark chocolate and running, recently completing the Paris marathon.
