An audit on diversity: Developing a cross cultural evaluation for companies Key Theme: Cultural Change in Organisations Type: Concept development
OBJECTIVES: Within the framework of the G.R.L.I. we are concerned about cultural diversity and the way of analysing and developing intercultural competences and behaviours for organisations. To carry out this mission, we work in partnership with the ESC-Rouen and Schneider Electric and its Department of Sustainable Development and Diversity.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES AND STEPS TO FOLLOW: Our aim is to follow three different steps for our “Cross-Cultural Audit in the Companies”.
Step 1. A Qualitative Approach: How to Analyse Cross-Cultural Competences (ACCC) in Organisations (Schneider Electric – Headquarters in Rueil Malmaison – France) 3 categories: a. ACCC Main Staff b. ACCC Heads of Human Resources c. ACCC Supervisors and Managers
Step 2. A Quantitative Approach: How to evaluate/measure diversity in Organisations. Outline/Table of contents to evaluate Cross-Cultural Competences: 3 categories:
a. Evaluation system for individuals b. Evaluation system for contexts c. Level of Performance for Cross-Cultural Competences
Step 3. Cross-Cultural Training for Organisations (Seminars): “Working together in order to improve performance”.
